Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 8 strips of bacon
- 8 slices of American cheese
- 4 eggs
- 4 kaiser rolls
- Ketchup
- Salt
Preparation
- Press the buns down with your hand to flatten a bit and drizzle one side with mustard and layer on sliced pickles and two pieces of Swiss cheese.
- Grill hot dogs on both sides, remove and place over the dressed bun, top with two more slices of cheese and the other half of the bun.
- Brush one side of the bun with the melted butter and place on the grill butter side down, pressing gently with a spatula. Butter the top side.
- When the bread is toasted and the cheese starts to melt, flip to toast the other side. It may help to lower the grill temperature if the bun toasts too fast.
- Remove and cut in half on an angle.
