Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 8 strips of bacon
- 8 slices of American cheese
- 4 eggs
- 4 kaiser rolls
- Ketchup
- Salt
Preparation
- Set the oven to 350F and cook bacon on a tray or cookie sheet for 15 to 18 minutes or until crisp.
- While the bacon is cooking, get the grill hot, gather your ingredients and divide the ground beef into 4, 8 oz portions and form patties and cut the rolls in half.
- Remove bacon from the oven and transfer to paper towels.
- Season the patties with salt and place on the grill. Just before burger reach your desired temperature, add 2 slices of cheese on each. Place buns on the grill until lightly toasted, about 15 to 30 seconds.
- Remove buns and burgers. Allow burger to rest for about 5 minutes. Fry the eggs in a pan while burgers rest.
- Add ketchup to the bottom bun, place the burger, then bacon and top with a fried egg.
