FoundHer: The Pitch Lab follows female founders compete for the chance to win a $100,000 investment from HearstLab. Established by visionary Eve Burton to close the gender gap in venture capital funding, HearstLab provides cash investment and support services to early-stage, women-led startups. With only 2% of all venture capital going to women led businesses, this competition is closing the gap, one investment at a time. In this series, we?ll follow Eve and her team of scouts as they pore through thousands of applications in search of the next billion-dollar idea. Out of hundreds of applications from across the country, finalists are selected to pitch in-person to a live audience and a panel of expert judges at the biggest competition for women-led startups in the world.
